"Lone Star Ranch Mantel" is one of two "Lone Star" mantels that Jerry carved for our customer's gorgeous new home located on their horse and cattle ranch in southeast Missouri.  This deep-relief mantel features the ranch setting, and includes a view of the new house, the pond, windmill, and surrounding Ozarks vegetation and wildlife.  The mantel returns are also carved, with vignettes of a longhorn and a horse.  The mantel will be mounted in the great room, where the spectacular stone fireplace soars to a vaulted white pine ceiling supported by hand-hewn beams.  The carving, from beginning to end, is featured in our section called "Start to Finish."
